Peak temps 13900K MSFS w/ best canned AIO cooler?

I'm planning to upgrade if my current CPU continues to falter.  My Phanteks case I see has space for 3 fans up top (there are two 120mm fans currently installed) so I'm guessing that is where an AIO cooler should go.  What should I expect in terms of temps at load in MSFS with a 13900K cooled with a good cooler?  Would I need to do any custom overclocking, or just rely on turbo modes or what have you?  If my 9900K holds out til Raptor Lake Refresh arrives I would go there very likely.   AMD is still an option but just unfamiliar with them personally.

I have the 13900K with an AIO cooler.  I sit at 60 C and get peaks of 75 C  never higher and I am getting full boost to 5.3GHZ

I posted this in another topic. See my system specs below. 

My CPU runs between 45c and 55c while using MSFS2020 and when I’m flying an event into KLAX on Vatsim with tons of traffic I’ll see it get close to 60c briefly. I’ve never seen this extreme heat during flight sim or game play. Unless your running benchmarks the 13900k runs at normal temps. I’m using a 360 AIO for cooling and I don’t even hear the fans.

That's great thanks, better than expected and about like what I'm used to in this 9900K.  I'm stoked I think ASRock has motherboards that will allow you to enable/disable the m.2 slots thru the BIOS.  That will be cool for doing clones, and being able to isolate them at boot time.

65c max @5.5ghz with an Arctic 360 AIO.  Was running it today on a 7 hour flight Narita to Honolulu.  Ambient temp in the room I have my computer in was around 82F.  My 13900k runs cooler than the 12900k I had.(changed it out because of bad memory controller traced back to cpu)

forgot to add running a 4090 too.  That thing gets toasty, but I have a good fan set up, so doesn’t affect overall computer temp.

Are all the performance cores running at 5.5Ghz?

Room temp makes a difference. My office is around 74F as I live in Florida so my 13900k doesn’t break 60c very often.

Specs in my signature. I run 8 P-cores and 8 E-cores, when in MSFS the P-cores run at 5.6 and the E-cores at 4.4.

I recently installed the AIO, used a Noctua NH-U12A as an interim solution for a couple of months, but the AIO is so much better. One big advantage with water vs. air is that heat spikes are absorbed much faster - no need for the fans to speed up. On an earlier flight today (CPH-LHR) the CPU averaged 54 degrees and the GPU 47 degrees.

Sorry for the late reply.  Yes I actually have both P and E cores running.  P all @ 5.5Ghz, E cores @ 3.9Ghz.  I've been told I can lower my temps even more if I disable the E cores, which makes sense and can probably get a higher clock speed, but at this point I just haven't had time to do so.

That's awesome or should I say encouraging.  It is a given that water leaks are a thing of the past?

I absolutely believe so. At least when it comes to AIOs. A bit of googling brought up a few, but generally a few years ago and given the number of AIOs in service I think the number of leaks is extremely small.

It's tempting to move ahead on a new build but at the moment dialing back clock speed from 5.0gHz to 4.9gHz and moving vCore from 1.195 to 1.22 seems to have solved the hard failures I had for a couple of days.  But yes I will def go w/ AIO when it's time thanks for your inputs Soren, cheers.
