This is a desktop PC with an Intel graphics chip AND a Geforce 1080 card. You can deactivate the chip in the BIOS settings. Usually, it is left activated. Go into dev manager, under view select show hidden devices. Under Display adapters it will probably still show the intel GPU. Right clikc on it and delete it. Its a windows thing

July 27, 20232 yr Author Solved it! I downloaded and installed the Vulkan installer from vulkan.lunarg.com and it works again. The Runtime is also included in the Geforce drivers. I know that because other programs with Vulkan worked. But maybe this installer changes some setting or is a new DLL. I do not know. Paul Schmidt We're fools to make war on our brothers in arms.
