As expected, no reaction by Laminar Research on my bug report, only the auto-generated reply. I know that this kind of problems are difficult to analyze, although I cannot imagine that nobody else has this problem. My system is pretty standard.

Laminar re in the middle of doing a major improvement, not sure they quiet have the time just yet.

How did you deactivate the intel GPU.?? Is this a laptop PC ??

This is a desktop PC with an Intel graphics chip AND a Geforce 1080 card. You can deactivate the chip in the BIOS settings. Usually, it is left activated. Some programs may even use both, like the Fenix A320 plugin.

Yes, most developers don't have time to care for problems that affect only a few users, or only one. I understand that. But they should tell me so.

Go into dev manager, under view select show hidden devices. Under  Display adapters it will probably still show the intel GPU. Right clikc on it and delete it. Its a windows thing

I did that already (among dozens of other things). But it did not help.

Solved it!

I downloaded and installed the Vulkan installer from vulkan.lunarg.com and it works again. The Runtime is also included in the Geforce drivers. I know that because other programs with Vulkan worked. But maybe this installer changes some setting or is a new DLL. I do not know.
