July 13, 20232 yr Ordered 4k TV for MSFS and new CPU - 5800x3d (from current 5600x). Trying to squeeze value from current setup so aiming to keep MSI X 6800 XT gaming trio GPU. I am not an «Ultra» person for settings. I keep most at medium except for clouds at ultra. LOD is at 100. Do you think I will be able to reasonably run at 4k, or should I start saving for 4080 gpu?
July 14, 20232 yr I had that exact combination and ran it on a 4K TV to test. Worked well, but will need to drop settings from Ultra. Formally screen name was Alex_YSSY until the forum software ate my account ^_^
August 8, 20232 yr Save for the 4080 for 4k .. the 6800xt is an IDEAL 1440p gpu .. but for 4k .. yeah ... save up the coin.
