Where is the default Cirrus's Trim indicator?

Featured Replies

Haven't used the Cirrus much since I had FS but took it out the other day taking a break from Alaska Bush flying using the float Kodiak and charter flying from Apsen to the Canyonlands area (down to Bryce/Monument Valley) using Caranado's PC12.  As always for default the Cirrus is another winner.  That being said I see no trim setting gauge to tell what my trim is set at.  Any ideas?  Thx in advance.

It's on the control rod of the yoke. If sitting in the default view, it's somewhat obscured.

I see the button but not the indicator to see what it's set at.😶

Move your view to the right and then look at the yoke from the side. There's a scale marked on the control rod where it moves into the panel. The correct TO position is marked. There is also a Left/Right trim indicator on the instrument panel where the control rod goes into it. I believe that trimming on the SR22 physically moves the position of the yoke which is why the scale is printed on the control rod.

NOTE: That image is _not_ from MSFS but I loaded the stock MSFS SR22 and it has the same indicators.

Thanks!  I'll give this a look when I load up my sim later today.🍺

Looks like the trim indicator on the stick us Un-adjustable visually.  You can trim the aircraft but it looks like there's no visual indicator in the default Cirrus.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong.😐

From what I can gather via some Googling, the only way to see your actual trim settings on the MSFS SR22 is via the MSFS Cockpit HUD (which is less than ideal in my opinion).

There's no HUD in the default Cirrus.😕

I think he's referring to the corny avionics and controls etc that you get in the default exterior views.

i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200,  RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

Yup. That's what I was referring to.

Sadly.
