 I'm trying to ask here and I really hope this is the place on the site in general and on the topic within the forum in particular!

I'm quite discouraged after trying to get advice or a solution in all kinds of places, but maybe someone will be kind enough

to comment: after a power outage in my home area, the simulator refuses to start.. both in safe mode and in normal mode

(infinite attempts to restart the computer or the simulator) 😕

.. what is the right thing to do.. is a certain file corrupted/deleted?

Deleting and reinstalling the entire simulator?

Try deleting UserCfg file. On store version is located at C:\Users\"your user name"\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

To clarify, will the computer start?  Or will the computer start but the sim won't?

Of course the computer runs ok only the sim failed.

It start but after appear 2 options "SFAE MODE" and "NORMAL MODE" , no one works ..

I would honestly look at the Zendesk articles regarding a reinstall of the simulator.
