Unable to get PMDG 747-400 to work with P3D v5

Hi all

I am trying to get PMDG P3D version of B747-400 to work.

I downloaded and installed P3D V5 and restarted my computer. I then tried to install PMDG P3D version of B747-400 and it just comes up with a window asking ‘Search for App in the store’, if I select ‘Yes’ nothing is found and if I select ‘No’ then the installation exits. 

What am I doing wrong please?

I did try on there but having problems bringing up the forums on there for some reason when I log into it.🤷‍♂️

Have you updated the 747-400 through the PMDG Operation Center after installation? I am running P3DV5.4 and the 737-400 as well as the 747-8 work flawlessly.

Unfortunately the problem is that I can’t install the PMDG B747-400, the problem is during the insulation so I can’t update the Operation centre.

Have you downloaded the latest available download version from PMDG? Have you tried to install it as Administrator?

I suspect this is either an outdated or corrupted installer, or perhaps an antivirus program interfering with the download and/or installer.

I would temporarily disable the AV, re-download a fresh copy of the PMDG add-on from their web store, and try to install (as admin).

If that doesn't work, you're probably going to need direct support from PMDG via their ticket system.

I re-unzipped the file and this time it worked…. Weird, but thank you all for your help
