August 21, 20232 yr I have noticed that the take-off trim suggested in the EFB is not enough for take-off. Once airborne, you have to add a lot more trim. The guy who has the youtube channel "into the blue simulations" has stated the same. How does one bring this to the attention of the developer to be rectified?

Trim as requested by the EFB seems enough/fine for takeoff to me. But after takeoff, sure, I'll usually have to add more trim for climb...but that's climb, it's not takeoff. Anything goes, just as with any airplane, if you're hand flying you'll end up trimming it up or down for various phases of flight depending on pitch/power settings and updrafts/downdrafts etc. I never expect to set takeoff trim, and expect to use that same trim setting for climbout. I don't know of any airliner-sized plane that does that. Maybe others can chime in about that. If you fly a 737 you'll often hear it (and see) the trim wheel winding around with AP engagement. Or if you hand-fly a 737 you'll want to adjust trim as you climb out. My experience with the A310 is similar. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

Trim at takeoff is ONLY for the rotation. As soon as the wheels are off the ground you have to trim it as you need to. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
