Help - Adding New Airport Scenery via Makerunways

Recommended Posts

@RayProudfoot

I hope you can easily answer this for me.  My memory is lacking for the moment and I would like to know if I need to activate all of my airport sceneries (I use Lorby's Addon Manager) before I run makerunway.exe to update the database in Radar Contact 4.3 after adding a new airport?  I seem to remember this is necessary as deactivated scenery will be skipped during the makerunway process. Please advise.

Kindest regards,

Glenn

Glenn, I can’t be sure. Does the MakeRwys readme give a clue?

If you want RC4 to ‘see’ all airports I’d work on the assumption they need to be active.

Yes, that is my assumption, too.  Lots of airports to activate, as I have a ton, and only activate those in the region of my flight. Quite a bit of work on my part, but worth the effort.

Cheers

The latest Makerwys has the Lorbi "read" tool included (Lorbi scene export). You do not need to activate anything, Lorbi's tool will read all the necessary files.
