Free up to 20000 tile requests per month as far as I remember. I doubt a normal user will reach this.
No need to create a paid plan or leave your credit card information.

ah, ok perfect! I was sad to think my favorite terrain was locked behind yet another paywall. i'll make an account and downloiad

after a lot of trail and error, I was finally able to get our favorite terrain map working again! It looks better than ever. 

However I also discovered the downloadable Google maps, and they are fantastic as well. I enjoy the 3 different varieties. And the terrain version might be in the running for best map. We shall see!

 

Can someone provide some detail on what to do after creating an account to download the theme file to load into LNM? Made an account and have an API key but don't see anywhere to go to download any sort of theme file
