UK2000 Newcastle help

Featured Replies

Tonight I installed Newcastle into my P3D v5.4 and I am having some trouble. It installed fine but there are red X's at the terminal. I know it is because SODE because when I untick the SODE option in the configurator the X's are gone. But I would like to use SODE at Newcastle. There is a file named UK2000 Newcastle Extreme in the SODE XML folder but the is no folder in the SODE SimObjects folder. Is there supposed to be one? Because I think that is why I am getting the red X's at the terminal when I select the SODE option in the configurator.

If it does need a folder in the SimObjects folder how to I get it?

Do you have the UK2000 common libraries for P3D installed. I had the same problem with the red X. When you download from simmarket the libraries are not included; the developer emailed me a link where I could download them.

This is the link I got: https://www.uk2000scenery.net/~scenery/files/Common_Library_Package_3.74.exe

This is very hard to find on the UK2000 website itself.

Having bought a new PC I'm in the process of installing all my scenery including UK2000 which includes Newcastle.

Like you I had red Xs at EGNT so checked the SODE entries in Program Data\12bPilot\SODE\Simobjects.

There wasn't a UK2000 folder but as I still had my previous PC I checked that and there was one so I just copied it across. It contains 24 folders plus a sim.cfg file.

According to Gary the solution is to install Common Libraries.

Thanks guys. The last time I had this scenery installed I did not have the red X's. I don't remember if I used the SODE jetways or the static ones.
