My EFIS range knob has seen too much use, and is jumpy.  I would like to replace it, and can use a soldering iron.  Have you done this?  Do you have a Mouser or DigiKey part number that will work?  Much appreciated! They make great products but their support is rubbish.

I guess the number of VRInsight MCP owners here is very limited and the share of those who had problems and fixed them by themselves is zero.

If you are ready for a DIY repair, just disassemble the unit and make the photos of the parts in question; then you'll get help from the forum members for sure.

I'm in the same situation, just wrote at [email protected] and waiting for an answer....

Another guy in this post below wrote a part number for the Airbus version (I think is the same in the Boeing), telling that the original has a lower declared life.

But looking at the datasheets I'm tryng to find something closer to the original but with better durability. As soon as I find something I'll post here my results, please, do the same.
