December 16, 20232 yr Hi , its bin a while since i used P3DV5.4 so my FSLabs A32X series was planned yesterday for a flight. I had alot of issues getting it not to CTD with error like the DXGI and G2d.dll . Essentiel a 2hour friday trip took about 6 hours. In the end i did not touch traffic and the EFB for those errors above. So how do i turn off the autostart with sim function in P3DV5? It loads regardless i disable it in the add-on.cfg. December 16, 20232 yr Author Oh and a little sidenote. Even if Windows defender has exclusion folder or .exe listed for a specific addon i have a hunch that doing it again is better. Call it placebo but something isnt right after a Windows update or 5. Michael Moe Michael Moe
December 16, 20232 yr Moderator Look in an add-on.xml for the entry. It will either be in ProgramData\LM\P3Dv5 or C:\users\[name]\appdata\roaming\LM\P3Dv5. Just change the Active=True to False. You can still disable it when it's running so it doesn't inject any Ai. Ray (Cheshire, England). December 17, 20232 yr I have a similar experience, cause i tried to start Traffic Controller with SimstarterNG, to have it started earlier. But i always got two instances of Traffic Controller. The program AI Manager will reenable it always unless you disselect it there from use I guess. OS=WIN11 Home, Sim=P3D5 5.3 (P3D4 and FSX for install reasons) Addons=ORBX, ASCA, AS, TOGA and tons of sceneries, aircraft MB=Gigabyte AORUS Z790 Elite AX, CPU=i13900K, Cooling=Be quiet!
