January 17, 20242 yr Hi all, I've been searching the forum and reading the docs searching for an answer to my weather question but haven't come across a good one. In a post from Dave last year he stated this: Posted January 22, 2023 P2A reads the last file in the real weather folder that starts with "metar". For example metar-2023-01-14-16.30.txt. That's okay but appears to indicate that P2A is reading the surface weather at the departure and perhaps the destination airports from whatever source it uses. But what about the weather aloft? Does P2A consider that weather? Thaanks
January 17, 20242 yr Commercial Member P2A does not publish weather aloft or use it in the flight planning. SIMBrief is a good resource to get detailed flight plans that include fuel burn, etc. affected by winds aloft. Dave
