January 19, 20242 yr What is the cause of the ground controller giving me a taxi to runway xx after I land and had requested a taxi to parking? On my last flight, I repeated the phrase "request taking to parking" about 4 times and each time I was given a taxi instruction for a runway.
January 19, 20242 yr Commercial Member You should request taxi to the gate, or request taxi to the GA Ramp. Parking is not understood since there are lots of parking options. The default, if it doesn't get a specific request, is to taxi to the active runway.
