February 15, 20242 yr Hello, i recently upgraded my GPU (finally) to a 4060ti but the frame generation option in MSFS remains greyed out. I set it in the user.cfg manually, same as raytracing which also was still off. But how do i know if its actually being used by the sim now? HWS in windows is activated.

You need to use the DX12, are you using it? Post a print with your settings. 9800X3D@H150i // Msi RTX 5090 Trio OC // 64GB DDR5 6000mhz CL30 // 2TB + 1TB Nvme Dell 27" 2127DGF - 1440p - Gsync - 165hz Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus // TCA Quadrant Airbus // TFRP T.Flight Rudder Pedals // Logitech Flight Multi Panel

FG runs standard on Windows 11 but has to be (manually) turned on in Windows 10. i9-13900K | 6400MHz DDR5 (32GB) | GeForce RTX 4090 24GB MSFS 2024 | PMDG 777-300ER | FBW A380X | Fenix A320 | ini A350
February 29, 20242 yr Author Hello, actually i dont use FG anymore right now and I stick with DX12. Thats because my preferred setting DLSS + DLAA eats up more VRAM than even the 16GB my GPU has. In DX11 it runs fine and smooth with around 11GB usage. Ill do a post on how to get your image sharp while maintaining good performance in 1080p using this.
