  1. Seb said a few times he was testing the add-ons himself, and that was a priority for them (legacy support).
  2. I think that's a good approach. Devs would be rushing their products otherwise.
  3. True, I didn't pay attention. Maybe their store is in a different region. It's possible to change regions changing Windows Settings. Anyways it will be in Six days for everybody, because this is a global release date (and time).
  4. You are probably in a country where it will actually be released on the 11/20, like Australia, New Zealand Japan etc.
  5. At this point, 3rd party devs are just being stupid. All the airplanes that use the default WX radar are pretty much usable, much batter than having an INOP one.
  6. I just use the Nvidia App. The new driver was available for me earlier today. AFAIK WHQL means: Windows Hardware Quality Labs. It's just MS validating the driver.
  7. Me too, but I think it’s their only chance.
  8. It all depends if they will sell in the Market Place and if it will be compatible with Xbox. If the answer is yes, they have an unexplored market Fenix can’t reach.
  9. Also important to say they did that for 2020 back then. We had two flight models, legacy and the new one.
  10. The albatross windshield looked awesome. Lots of distortion on the edges. Unfortunately he didn't show the wipers working.
  11. The controller profiles are totally different from 2020, you won't be able to carry over. That's a feature they improved a lot and because of that, they are not compatible.
  12. Stream sound was messed up, it was stuttering and echoing (not just sim sounds, but also their voices). It was like someone was using speakers. 😁
  13. Even the hated Dovetail's FSW had better lessons than MSFS 2020. They never really aimed that part of the simulation. But they improved a lot in the career mode, I liked what I saw.
  14. ??? Source: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 FAQ – Microsoft Flight Simulator Support
  15. Great Stream, I'm liking all the default planes so far.
  16. Also performance is great. Much better than the older build (we saw 2 weeks ago).
  17. FG is DX12 only. All aircrafts work with DX12. Most glitchs/bugs we had in DX12 were fixed. At least I don't see any for a while now (I used to see some lighting glitchs and missing textures at airports).
  18. I don't think they would be able to support all 3rd party devs right now, hence why I think they first gave access to first party devs (like ini, flightfx, gotfriends etc), and now they released the SDK to everybody, but only gave alpha build access for the ones in the market place (prioritizing the partners). But after release, they will support everybody.
  19. They already released, this monday. Everybody already has access to the SDK since monday.
  20. A huge improvement for the airliners would be performance and optimizations Asobo accomplished with 2024. But there are secondary improvements beneficial for ailiners. CFD implementation for all aircrafts = third party devs will have better options to use the SDK, and it will be potentially easier to develop a study level airliner. New and improved live traffic, no doubt this something airliners will like. New ground improvements = no need to fake same ground effects, although bush fliers will get more benefits from a higher solution ground, airliner users will also be happier with the improvements. I don't see why an airliner user wouldn't move on to 2024 as soon as their add-ons are ported.
