October 24, 20241 yr Does FG ( Nvidia 4xxx cards ) work with DX11 ore only with DX12. Yesterday i tried with DX11 what i set back from DX12 and the Sim says restart. I did and saw DX11 was there but NVIDIA Framegen was greyed out.. An other Question: Does the FBW A320 work with DX12 ? cheers 😉 08.2024 new PC is online :  ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage  HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.

Most glitchs/bugs we had in DX12 were fixed. October 24, 20241 yr You can use frame generation with DX11 by using the Lossless Scaling and Frame Generation application...around $7 on Steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/993090/Lossless_Scaling/ Native nVidia FG is only possible with DX12. Two thoughts here. First is always wishing the date written appeared for support recommendations like that one linked. As ca_metal stated above, many glitches with DX12 have been fixed. I am currently testing a full class bizjet with sophisticated glass. I am using a 4080 Super with FG, DX12, and the AutoFPS app. I see no anomalies. I hope someone who flies the A320 mentioned will respond. Second thought is that sometimes in this wonderful flight simulation activity a person just has to at times make choices that might occasionally carry forward some conflicts. October 24, 20241 yr For what it's worth, I used to fly in normal 2D with DX12 and native FG. And in VR with DX11. But the new Pimax drivers now work just fine in DX12. So I'm always in DX12. As far as I know from the Jorg videos, FS2024 will only work in DX12, and won't run in DX11. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TBÂ PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. DX12 beta these days runs just fine for me - I switched back to 11 at the suggestion of a buddy and it caused more of a performance degrade. I have FG off right now because of light flickering and tearing.Â

I also have the sharpest imagery possible on a 3440x screen using AMD Fidelity FX at 200, Render Scaling at 150 and all MSFS graphics related settings to the max and those sharpening algorithms do make FG aberrations worse. All absolutely true, however with my weak system I am so limited that without using the Lossless Scaling app I would struggle to maintain anything above about 20-25 fps with anything other than low-medium MSFS settings for most complex aircraft/scenery. After being able to spin up 60+fps with LS and the beautiful fluid panning and few stutters it becomes REALLY objectionable to go back to 20-30fps. i7-6700k • Gigabyte GA-Z170X-UD5 • 32GB DDR4 2666 • EVGA FTW ULTRA RTX3080 12GB

I think there must be a lot of individual variation in people's experiences and also priorities. I use DX12 and FG - and also Lossless Scaling - without noticing any loss of visual quality/ increased flickering/ other aberrations, compared with DX11. But if there is any, then it is a price worth paying imo in return for the unrivalled fluidity of consistent >80fps on a Gsync 144Hz monitor: I would not have believed it could make such a difference, until I experienced it.  14900ks, RTX4090, 64Gb@6000-30-36-36-T2, Samsung 990Pro 2Tb , Dell G3223Q 32" 4k Gsync + 27" secondary monitor. For me, Fidelity FX at 200 results in an image that is waaaaay oversharpened. And I swear I have nothing like strobing tarmac when using FG. My issue is now, that since I used FG in MSFS, I can hardly get along any FPS below 40-50 anymore, while some years ago, 30FPS were perfectly fine for me. Things change...
