A Love Letter to FBW

Featured Replies

@Watsi et al. As an early user and aficionado of the FBW Fifi, I wonder what impact the upcoming version 2 of the Asobo/IniBuilds A320 will have on FBW strategy? Will the team continue only with the current airframe, or will they take advantage of the refresh to then elevate the new baseline to further heights?

The possibilities are mind boggling, and if the team has had any insight into the new offering, I’m hoping they could indicate the future work flow… regardless, I remain obliged.

She was the first jet transport in MSFS I enjoyed, and continues her evolution. There can only be gratitude.

Since:

1. the FBW A32NX is independent from the Asobo A320Neo for a long time now (with the exeption of the outside visual model of the A320)

and

2. the inibuilds A320 is also an independent plane (from the default Asobo one and from ours)

there's no need for any change of plans or how we proceed. We just continue the work on our A32NX and the A380.

Are we likely to see the FBW A380 this year?

Thanks @Watsi, understood. I had assumed that it would replace the current model.. and you know what they say about “assuming”.

I too remain excited about the A380.
