February 25, 20242 yr This turn around I decided to push Nvidia Experience into my Win 11 install, and even defined a specific Game profile for XP12, although I still use Inspector to set specific MSAA values... I never install the sound drivers, but i do install both the graphics and PhysX ones... Previously i used to run DDU in safe mode, then install each new driver from scratch in expert mode. Nvidia Experience notifies me of new versions I and already pushed the first update through it, installed also in expert mode, but I'm not sure it it cleans the shaders cache? Main idea was to try Nvidia's built video capture (ShadowPlay) to create some content with Ailinetools. Question for you fellow XP users - do you see any inconvenient in using Geeforce Experience instead of the simple driver install ? February 25, 20242 yr Well, soon you won't even have to decide, as the new Nvidia control panel is releasing, which is a complete overhaul that combines the control panel and the GFE functions in a single, fast interface but removes all the login nonsense. So ShadowPlay and everything will be baked directly into the control panel. https://reddit.com/r/nvidia/comments/1ax7bgk/megathread_test_drive_the_new_nvidia_app_beta_the/ But right now, I avoid GFE like the plague. Any recording I do can be done with OBS as that can also use the Nvidia codecs and has a replay buffer function. February 26, 20242 yr Author Well, reverted back to plain driver, while it is possible 🙂 DDU used for the cleaning,as usual... Thank you for your opinions !
