Why 160 GB Update?

Recommended Posts

Suddenly I needed to update 160GB. This does not make sense. What happened before is my steam MSFS didnt want to start. After hours of troubleshooting, I managed to start MSFS after deleting two Fgen DLL files. And suddenly this update (159 GB) is mandatory? Im so done. Please help 😞

As above. This is a fairly common issue and discussions on it can be found with a search on this forum, such as this one just 5 days ago.

The Official folder, which contains the simulator content, including all of the world updates
and a handful of Marketplace aircraft, so far is around 361 GB.
There is little point in posting the size of a Community folder, as that depends entirely on
how many community add-ons that the user has installed and is infinitely variable.
