Grenadines Nostalgia

Featured Replies

Hi all,

so this is # 2 of my "Nostalgia" series, to be continued...๐Ÿ™‚

Here you can see the old FT Grenadines scenery which never made it to 64-bit. Runs from FSX to P3dv3.4.

The helicopter is the Cerasim Bell 212 for FSX which is still in sale on their website and for a nice price. The downloadable version works up to P3dv4.

And than on the last shots you can see Ant's drifter which is a top notch glider.

ย

The Grenadines can be easily reached via St. Vincent, I usually go to TVSV E.T.Joshua runway 25 and fly direction Bequia.

The little islands are Bequia, Mustique,ย  Canouan, Union Island and Lauriston. And it's only a short hop from Lauriston to Grenada, very nice to fly.

The area was covered by the carribean update so also looks well (and a bit more modern) in msfs.

Beautiful series of pics with good (scenery) object renditions, you've here.... from FSX/SE...

Always will have a soft corner for FSX, been with it for 20 years...And with memories of long-haul travels inย jetliners from the "Premier" developers, but alas, over and across brown and green patches of terrain underneath...๐Ÿ™‚...

Thanks for sharing...!

Thank you, FSX can do a proper rendition as long as the objects work and have nice textures. And in this scenery they even used polygon runways.ย

"Premier" aircraft yes, it was a useable freeware DHC-6 Twinotter. Long before the payware came out.
