March 23, 20242 yr Hiya Dave I can't land at EGLL . all time the ATC says me traffic on runway ....missed aproach The ia traffic has taken off when iam approaching and there is no traffic on runway but atc still tell me that there is traffic on runway and can't land Is there a way to fix it through config menu? thanks
March 23, 20242 yr Commercial Member Depending on what SIM you are using, the traffic waiting to take off might look to P2A as if it's on the runway. Or, if there is traffic crossing the runway, even at the far end as you get to about 1NM out, you will get sent around. You can just land anyway if this is happening at just EGLL. Then after you pull off the runway, tell Tower you are clear of active and all should proceed normally after that. The only issue might be that if you have the copilot handling the radio, they might switch to Approach control while you're landing and you'll have to switch back to Tower. Are you using X-Plane? March 23, 20242 yr Commercial Member Could be a timing issue or aircraft close enough to the runway to mislead P2A as to it's position relative to the runway data. You can look at the TaxiMnt data and see if the runways line up correctly with the Satellite map. If that doesn't fix it, about the only thing you can do is just go ahead and land if sent around and no aircraft are on the Runway.
