March 26, 20242 yr Hi all, was interested to see if there is some scenery for the Mount Everest base camps in msfs and indeed there is a base camp scenery just where it should be. Don't know which one because there are more than 1 but it's a nice little scenery in the correct place. The chopper I fly here is the HPG Airbus H125, another great freeware from flightsim.to. The great scenery at Lukla, really beautiful. This is called Siangboche. And the airport there VNSB which is more a large meadow, can be used as start location at 12.000 feet. The famous monastery Tengboche, it's all there... This is the entire mountain massif where the Everest is in, don't know which pike it is... Found a nice little ice pool here and do a little round... The Lootse glacier if I'am right. Basecamp down there... Thank you very much for viewing! March 27, 20242 yr Great shots of an interesting flight, Andreas. I hope you didn't have to struggle too much at that height with your small chopper. 🙂 Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

Of course it must be watched that there is not too much power left up there. March 30, 20242 yr Author Thank you very much P_7878, I think it's interesting to see if such little details are modelled in a sim or not. Our little simulated world is nothing without details...🙂 PC: Ryzen 7 3700x AM4, 16 GB RAM, RTX 3060 12GB, Storage SSD 3TB, HDD 8TB, USB 8TB, 2 Screens, Win10-64 SIMs: FSX SE, P3d 3.4/4.5/6.1, Xplane 10/11/12, MSFS 2020/24, Aerofly FS 4
