Basecamp

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

was interested to see if there is some scenery for the Mount Everest base camps in msfs and indeed there is a base camp scenery just where it should be.

Don't know which one because there are more than 1 but it's a nice little scenery in the correct place.

The chopper I fly here is the HPG Airbus H125, another great freeware from flightsim.to.

The great scenery at Lukla, really beautiful.e5XyAUB.jpeg

Great shots of an interesting flight, Andreas. I hope you didn't have to struggle too much at that height with your small chopper. 🙂

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

Thank you very much Bernd! 🙂 The chopper has a service ceiling of 21.000 feet and the basecamp is a little less than 18.000, so it works.

Of course it must be watched that there is not too much power left up there.

Thank you very much P_7878, I think it's interesting to see if such little details are modelled in a sim or not. Our little simulated world is nothing without details...🙂
