Ini a320-251Neo (SU15) Flies Like A Real Airbus If…

You approach it as a pilot and not a simmer. I have found after a few hours of trial and error that if you accurately complete every “jot and tittle” of the FP, Payload, and most importantly ZFW/ZFWCG in the FMS it will behave and fly like the Fenix, consistently and reliably, albeit with bugs but those can be dealt with IF you get all data that the plane expects.

Please comment if you wish but please only successful flights and how you got there.  There are already more than enough threads bashing the plane already.

How do I define successful?  For me it requires an accurate simulation of a departure, cruise, arrival, descent and approach, currently ILS with autoland.  I’ve got three of those in a row and am currently working on number four.

Anyone else?

Edit:  Now with video!  A very sedate and extremely well executed auto flight.with a surprise ending.  From the video description, "An uneventful and well flown fully automated flight from Miami International to Atlanta Hartsfield Airport. Surprise ending is a result of pilot error not FMS/AP error. I accidently chose the wrong RWY and well, you'll see!"  Play in HIDEF for best experience.

I have to give it a try, like a RW piloteee, but only with both engines quit c'ause IRL I only fly gliders 😁

BTW, how does it handle under asymmetric thrust?

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

Bugs are bugs, and they show up regardless of handling. Besides, i would expect most of us (or anyway those commenting and making comparisons between Fenix, FBW and Ini) to know how to properly operate it by now 🙂

Once the bugs are dealt with, i think it will be alright and most importantly a welcome addiction for console users too.
