Pilot2ATC + XP12 + Traffic Global

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Could anyone give me a hint as to where I've gone wrong getting traffic generated by JustFlight Traffic Global to show up in Pilot2ATC on XP12?

  1. Installed XP-Link link plugin
  2. Enabled "Use TCAS" in Traffic Global
  3. Enabled Airbourne Traffic Alerts and "Use XP Traffic" in P2A

Traffic is showing up ok in LittleNavMap and is removed when I disable "Use TCAS" so I think the TG/XP12 side is ok.  I couldn't find anything in the P2A trace file to indicate the problem.

Below is a link to an image with my settings, could get the insert image to work on the form.

Settings

Thanks for the help

Have you added the Traffic global AI aircraft at the Xplane settings screen.

You may need to click the icons on the 2ATC map to show those in the air and on the ground

Thanks that did the trick, not all aircraft are showing (e.g. grould traffic) but it's showing something now.  Thought I'd done everything, guess need to go read the Traffic Global manual again.

Do you know if for ground traffic it only shows those that are "taxiing"?  I can see ground traffic in P2A at far off airports but not the one I'm at.  I'm guessing if parked, it means there transponder is off so won't show on TCAS.

Glad you got it fixed.

Not sure about parked Vs taxi though-I can check later and let you know

Extract from TG manual....

"There is full, official support for up to 63 TCAS aircraft in X-Plane 11.50. No additional setup is required; simply
enable Traffic Global’s TCAS option. Do NOT add AI aircraft to X-Plane’s flight configuration or these will be
shown as additional flying aircraft in the simulator and will affect the performance of the simulator."
