Going from 5600X to 5800X... worthwhile?

Hello everyone. As the title says, I've seen here in Argentina that they are offering the Ryzen 7 5800X for just 340 USD. Sounds tempting. Right now I have a 5600X. Rest of specs in my signature. My main usage would be P3D (both v4 and v5) and MSFS, and obviously I'm CPU-limited.

Is it worthwhile to switch? Or should I better save my money for something else?

Background/extra info:

My current air cooler (ID Cooling SE-224-XTS) appears to be rated for 220W, so I guess temperatures won't be a problem. A 5800X3D (well appreciated by MSFS simmers) costs here at least $700. Going AM5 would cost me even higher, because I'd need a new mobo and DDR5 RAM.

Also, when I built my rig in 2021, I was thinking about a 3700X but a simmer here convinced me of going 5600X instead. 5800X was out of my budget then (around $450, give or take)

I’d move to a 5800x3d, instead of the 5800x.  Massive performance difference.

Confirmed in MSFS,after all the reports I saw for the 5800X3D. But for $700 here, is it worth the framerate increase I may get?

Its not worth 700 dollars but its worth finding a friend who can purchase a 5800x3d elsewhere and bring it to you. 700 dollars is robbery. I don't recommend getting the 5800x but you must find a way to get a 5800x3d without getting ripped off

Thanks for your replies. 5800X idea discarded. Would be 5800X3d, or waiting for a whole system upgrade then.

Well, this video sums it all. An X3D CPU is what I want:

BUT I've seen another AM4 contender: 5700X3D. Now I don't know if I want to go to the 5700X3D or pay 30-35% more and get the 5800X3D, but that would be for another thread.
