April 30, 20242 yr The designer (1970's) said this plane was an altered version of the 1910 Fessenden Bullet ! In the '70s it used the common Volkswagen Bug air cooled car engine available at auto junk yards around America. The MSFS version uses the later plans version with a much more expensive engine that allows cruising at 155 knots. A main attraction is wonderful visibility from the cockpit. Stall is 37. Tricycle gear. The problem is lack of cargo capacity and so light it blows around in the weather. Which rules it out for adventures in the back country. Is in the marketplace. Cheap. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. April 30, 20242 yr A1R does very beautiful aircraft....they're not super in depth but the "I'm there" factor is huge imo. They also choose lesser known aircraft which is kinda neat. This one is no different. I'm not too fond of the Garmin "Aera" in the cockpit though. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 30, 20242 yr I will probably capture this one when it comes to the 3rd party stores. Easy to visualize some cool repaints. My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.
