Hi.My wife (bless her) had gotten me the above title software for my fsx. At the time I had xp. I moved over to vista months ago and installed the software last week. After getting an error msg about fsuipc issue with vista, I decided to uninstall the software. Few days later, I fire up fsx just to check some video card settings....wow....I've got no...nada...zip....zero ai traffic.Come to find out that the version of the software that I have is not vista compatible. My traffic blg file is where it should be. I looked in the sim objects folder and their all empty.No planes...no boats/ships.Is it possible that when I unstalled the software, it took my default ai with it, and if so, how do I get it back short of a clean re-install of fsx?Thank you.Ernest

Before you resort to a reinstall try inserting the FSX dvd into your drive and running the 'Repair' option - hopefully the missing files will be reinstated.

Hi.Yes, that has been a thought along with a system restore, which will be a last resort.It's still weird that the un-install took all my default ai. I've check everything I could think of and that is what I'm left with.Thanks for the reply.Ernest

Cuffs,Check this :-Open RUN dialog and type %appdata% , then go to folder Microsoft -> FSX and open FSX.cfg file.Is 'SimObjectPaths.X=MyTrafficAircraft' where X is the next number in the list - in there?Then in FSX go to the Scenery Library and check it is enabled in there.Uninstalling FSUIPC shouldn't do this kind of damage. I am running Vista and have have Traffic running nicely.

And make sure that:in Flight Simulator XSceneryWorldScenery the traffic file ia trafficAircraft.bgl not trafficAircraft.bg_in the same folder traffic.bgl is deletedin Flight Simulator XSoundATC the voice file is USEnglishBig.gvp not USEnglishBig.fstin the same folder the four Traffic2005Voices files are deletedAnd if you want another traffic program ask her to get you MyTraffic which will run on Vista (or really please her and go back to XP)

Hi.Ok, that scenery is not showing up at all, so I quess thats good.As for the Fsuipc, it was created on 11/15/07 and it shows a modified date of 10/23/07 which makes no sense at all. How do you modifie something before it was created?Thanks again for all your imput.Ernest

On the Traffic Tab in settings what percentage is traffic set at? Put it up to 100% for aircraft and load up FSX at a major airport.After that I am all out of ideas and it may be quicker to reinstall.
