May 14, 20242 yr So - I'm late to the party since I just recently got a new computer that can run P3DV5. I went ahead and got the TFDI B717. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the flood lights to come on other than hitting the thunderstorm switch. I can turn the integral lights up and down using the outer knob, but I can't seem to get the inner knob to turn at all. Anyone able to provide some assistance? Thanks!
May 14, 20242 yr You have to roll the mouse wheel. The switch is on the overhead panel just left of the 3 landing lights switches. Anyone able to provide some assistance? I've found the same thing. If I view the knobs head on, I can only adjust the outer knob. That said, adjusting the viewing angle (I use ChasePlane) does allow me to manipulate the inner knob. It works for me if I look up at the knobs, kind of in a upper sideways view (if that's understandable). Joel Murray @ CYVR (actually, somewhere about halfway between CYNJ and CZBB)

I know where the switches are. The issue seems to be that I can't rotate the inner knobs for the floods. The outer knobs rotate just fine.

Might have to do it from the VC view instead of the overhead view to get it done. Thanks!

Seems to be that they can be roasted if you look up from the main VC view but trying to do it from the Lower Overhead view is a problem.
