He knew what he was doing. He needs to pay the price. When you enter the military you take an oath. That oath is for life. Those that never served might not understand that. He put his family in this predicament not the US government.

I kinda agree. But also he broke no Australian laws and gave up his American citizenship for Australian, so I think Australia shouldn't extradite him

He did also increase the Chinese threat for Australia. We'll see how this shakes out. A very difficult situation for all.
