May 27, 20242 yr I've tried to fly 3 different GA aircraft into 2 airports that took ILS approaches before SU15, & non of the flights resulted in an ILS landing. Followed standard ILS procedures that used to work. Anyone else having ILS issues? T45
May 27, 20242 yr Not here... I've done a couple of ILS approaches in the Duke since SU15 without any issues.

Same to me ( but not in the Duke ) using airliner to fly, and all ILS landings i did went well.. cheers 😉 Edited May 27, 20242 yr by pmplayer 08.2024 new PC is online : ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F GAMING WIFI Mainboard, AMD Ryzen™ 9 7950X3D Prozessor, G.Skill DIMM 64 GB DDR5-6000 (2x 32 GB) Dual-Kit, MSI GeForce RTX 4090 VENTUS 3X E 24G OC Grafikkarte, 2x WD Black SN850X NVMe SSD 4 TB - Drive C+D, WD Gold Enterprise Class 12 TB for storage HDD, Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W PC - Power supply, Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 EVO CPU Aircooler with 7 Heatpipes, Design Meshify 2 White TG Clear Tint Tower-Case, 3x 4K monitors 2x32 Samsung 1x27 LG 3840x2160, Windows11 Prof. 23H2 - now Windows11 Prof. 25H2 Flightsimulator Hardware: Honeycomb Throttle Bravo, Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, Logitech Flight Joke System, XBox Controller, some Thrustmaster stuff, Winwing CDU Panels.

Are you hand-flying the ILS or do you have the autopilot engaged? Can you share some screenshots of what's going wrong? Just to make sure: When you say "none of the flights resulted in an ILS landing" -- you aren't letting the autopilot fly the ILS all the way to touch down? (There aren't really any GA aircraft that can do an autoland, unless you count owner-operated high-end business jets as GA.)

Just tried the turbine Duke into my standard Autopilot ILS test approach: KBOS Rwy 33L, 110.70, 300 degrees - coming in to the LittleNavMap green feathers at 1,800', didn't pick up the Glideslope when I hit APPR & VLOC. Not attempting autoland, just conventional ILS, capture glide slope & follow it down, then take AP off & hand fly the landing. I'll have a break for today & try again tomorrow. May 27, 20242 yr Since SU15 have done about a dozen ILS approaches at different airports, no problems at all.

Maybe just a typo? 43 minutes ago, Treetops45 said: didn't pick up the Glideslope when I hit APPR & VLOC If it didn't follow the glideslope down, was it tracking the localizer and holding altitude, or did it also not pick up the localizer? Was the glideslope being indicated correctly on the left HSI? Now that you mention the autopilot didn't track the glideslope, I did have an issue on a recent flight with the (piston) Duke where I couldn't get the autopilot to follow the glideslope and ended up flying the approach in ATT mode, adjusting vertical speed. You do what you gotta do. I wasn't sure at the time if this was pilot error though. On the next flight in the Duke, the autopilot flew the approach without any issues. I'll report back if the issue reoccurs.

Just tried AP & ILS into KHVN using the Textron Bonanza G36 & it picked up the glideslope & came down smoothly & transitioned into an AP off, hand landing, so probably just one of those days. T45
