[Resolved] Flashing Clouds in P3Dv5.3HF2 only at Manchester

Take a look at this video. Can anyone explain why the clouds are flashing? It only happens at UK2000 Manchester Xtreme which is really odd. I asked the question at Hi-Fi thinking it might be a cloud glitch in ASP3D and the advice was to switch to v5.4.

Well I did that and the problem remained. I've had to switch back to 5.3HF2 for another issue unrelated to this.

It's not a show-stopper but it's something I'd like tp solve. Anyone got any thoughts why it's restricted to one airport?

This could be display settings are you using the latest GPU drivers.

PS I`m not impressed with AIG have loaded all airlines and flight plans but have verry little traffic I know you use it.

Yep, 555.99 loaded the other day. No change from previous 7 months ago. Cloud texture settings are on max in ASCA. The 4090 can handle anything thrown at it. But why just Manchester?

Ai is a separate issue but happy to help if you wish to raise a topic.

Do you mean at airports or in the air?

As no-one else has reported the issue and it only affected clouds when at Manchester I decided there must be something bad with my UK2000 install.

A reinstall plus the update has fixed the problem. 👍
