First Stutters with SU15

Featured Replies

I had CTD yesterday after ending a successful flight (dx12 related). Then I restarted the Sim. Alas, it suddenly asked for 1.77 GB size  mandatory update. Asobo also downloaded the 747 and A320 which I intentionally had deleted to free some space.

So I downloaded the update. This time Asobo forced my settings to default, controllers, graphics, all of them.  Not only that, all the flights after the update suffered stutters on final/approach.

SU15 has been a perfect cure for my stutters, until last night where I also experienced like others did; stuck in update screen. This repeated issue is beyond belief 😔

Any insights would be much appreciated

Two thoughts on this.  Firstly, MS has been experiencing a few server issues lately, though it seems it's fixed for now.  Secondly, myself and a couple of others have noted that there have been some problems using the map enhancer program.

I did a disk clean up, deleted temp files and deleted my dx cache last night and all seems to be running smoothly today.

I noticed a decrease in performance in my usual locations after problems with Microsoft servers. But perhaps this was influenced by the latest NVIDIA driver

Not for me, the Map Enhancement mod has been working perfectly on my system. What it has been discussed in the official forums is that MS servers have been running into issues during the last two or three days and that it's supposedtly affecting the "Checking for Updates" rolling circle that takes too much time or never ends, but that can be solved by hard quitting the sim and restarting it again, at least on my system. None of this could be related to the Map Enhancement IMO.

Cheers, Ed

Glad to hear this really.

Thank you for the tips.

It turned out, how dumb I was, the problem is my Autopfps. I didnt set it correctly so during final, my TLOD is 175!

I reinstalled and used the latest one, now is good, during approach, my TLOD is automatically set to 50.
