MSFS oh oh

Featured Replies

Hi all,

couldn't do much in the sims during last weeks and I'm afraid this will not change for next weeks.

In MSFS with the latest updates there are new controls available for the helicopters and I just practice how to asign it, seems to be useful. 5 shots here from Billy Bishop Toronto and Hawaii.

But with that latest update my fps where down to below 10. So I removed everything from the community folder, was fine again.

And now I have a lot of work to bring all the addons back, so far I couldn't find out which one caused the issue. As if I have nothing else to do.

Good to hear from you, Andreas...and glad you have again got something going in MSFS...🙂...

Nice pictures...!

Great shots, Andi ! And good luck finding the culprit soon. Unfortunately our flight simulators have never been an "Install it and enjoy it" exercise 😡

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

Thank you P_7878, the sim itself runs well since the update and beside the community folder but most of the stuff is back now. 🙂

Thank's a lot Bernd, as I said above most of the stuff is back but I couldn't find any culprit, no idea. What i mean is that msfs over the years caused

a lot more problems than i.e. Xplane, of course it's quite normal that a sim is not easy to handle. Just installed the latest update for XP12 which now is

XP12.1.rc2 and no issues at all including all addons. Becomes better and better, they need some time.

That's too bad, I rarely had any issues with MSFS since it came out. And like you I also had no problems with XP11 at all. I don't have XP12, as I have moved over to MSFS. Maybe I'm just lucky, I guess 🙂

If you are a lucky guy 🙂 do you have the Steam Edition which makes you happy or the Xbox version? I have the Xbox version and I am not satisfied

with that complicated folder structure they have there as well.

Andi, I have the Microsoft version for my PC

Thank's Bernd, I think I will upgrade my simulator to 32gb RAM, first hardware change since 6 years. And I will keep XP11 and even improve the installation

because the sim is extremly stable. And no more updates to present me any unusual adventures.
