Hi everyone, I've installed AIG Traffic via installer, chose another path for OCI folder (my D:\ drive) but noted that the AIG Traffica Manager created under C:\ProgramData\AIGTech folder with a lot of subfolder of 4/5 gb. Is this a temporary folder? can I delete it or move to D:\ ?

EDIT: does it work with Radar Contact 4?

I use aig too. Brilliant addon imo. I believe that folder is where all the paints are stored. Best leave it alone. Its annoying when apps do that but meh it's 2025.. If you really need the space back use a symbolic link to point somewhere else but 5gb ain't much. My folder is 40gb lol. 

Hi sloppymusic and thanks, the correct size of my C:\ProgramData\AIGTech is 909MB, very comfortable. Yesterday during installation was about 53GB, may were temporary files now deleted after PC restart. 

But this is what I've noted during AIG Traffic Controller execution:

1) AIG Traffic Controller takes about 1:45 mins afterstart-up from choosing sim to load all flight data. I have all continents downloaded!

2) My % traffic is set to 100% in AIG Traffic Controller (for testing purpose) but see very few airplanes on the ground. For example yesterday in a big hub like LFPG it calculates 46 airplanes in total (I can see on the map) but on ground I could see about 5 o 6 at gates (deafult scenery), very few. My P3D traffic is at 0%, is it normal to see this?

3) I can't confirm that Radar Contact 4.3 can interact with AI traffic, I only listened the controller calling for an "alpha ... cleared for takeoff".

4) better to run with FSHud?

4) Yes. Without good atc they can roam all over the place. With fsh even if you don't use it for your flight you can tune to ground or tower and hear the ai interacting with atc. Very immersive. 

I also use fsuipc to limit ai if I lose fps but mostly it runs smooth with 50 planes around me. Could increase I guess but works so well right now I don't want to mess with it.

Thanks, if I well understand is non mandatory use AIG Traffic Controller? good to know! Can I exclude from start-up with sim? so...the injection traffic is managed and controller by FSHud I suppose.

After running AIG setup you can close it down and the ai is in the sim when you go to airport. If you dont go online dont ask that question lol!

Injection happens without fs hud. FSH just controls/limits it.

make sure you go to airport where you installed flights!

in fsd hud select AIG  in traffic section.

It just WORKS, dont ask me how!

@riccardo74, firstly, RC4 does interact with AIG Ai aircraft. My setup is 90% BGL with AIGFP taking up the remaining 10%.

I wouldn’t touch any folders created by the installation.

Traffic Controller only inserts the AIGFP airlines. If it doesn’t run those airlines won’t appear. The BGL airlines are treated like addon scenery. You should have your P3D traffic sliders set to 100% for airlines and GA traffic. Reduce the sliders if fps drop below what you’re happy with.

Make sure you disable the default airlines BGL in \Scenery\World\Scenery.

@sloppysmusic in fshud do you select only AIG? and how many TRAFFIC AMOUNT? I noted that it doesn't change so much, even if I move slider to 200 can't get so much traffic.

Thanks @Ray Proudfoot, I'm a bit confud on Traffic Controller, I noticed that start automatically with P3D. And can't understand difference between AIG BGL traffic. Now I set in P3D traffic slider to 100% but on LIPZ have only 5 liner parked, no one GA. On Traffic Controller timetable I can see many ac in different hours of the day.

@riccardo74, how many airlines have you installed? It’s best to start off slow with just the major airlines. At LIPZ you should gave Alitalia, Ryanair and EasyJet.

AI Traffic Controller is an addon so will start automatically.

I always recommend AI Companion. It shows what aircraft are running in P3D.

As Ray asked, how many airlines do you have installed? I installed everything for USA/Europe - took most of a day but was worth it for me.

I select AIG and EXTERNAL in FSHUD BUT thats as I also use it with FSTL in MSFS, so I dont have to change settings for each sim. External has no effect in p3d with AIG (its internal).

You'll have to experiment, you're not going to get every airplane in the region at every airport (and you wouldnt want to!)

No model = no ai injected. You need a model AND a flight plan. You can check what you have installed with AIG manager.

I'm a total noob with this, I just started and got it working well but not really a good one to give advice!

Ray is an expert, but he's not your online manual! You'll need do some research and reading too. 

If you got ANY ai injected well done, you succeeded! Now go back to the manager and get some more models/plans!

I've installed all 5 continents, all flight models and all flight plans availae. I read all manual but it's always so clear, and I was testing ATC before with RC4 and then with FSHud. This last one I use only for P3D, instead on FS2024 I use BeyondATC with FSLTL. 

What it's not clear for me is the traffic controller app, it starts automatically with p3d and inside traffic controller timetaes it I can see for an airport (LIPZ for example) many flights not showing in my p3d, maybe it AFCAD not correct or other stuff...

That's all!

Hy Ray, that's the problem: Alitalia (ceased, now ITA Airways) Easyjet and Ryanair are not visible, I have in timetable but not in the sim with all slider to 100% in p3%, 100% in Traffic Controller and 200 in FSHud.

Riccardo, you have rather jumped in with both feet rather than taking it easy. Consequently you have a real mishmash of airlines many of which are not appearing.

Have you installed Ai Companion? That will show exactly what is showing. If you have a third party LIPZ it will have plenty of gates and parking positions. Enough for those airlines including ITA Airways.

Come back when you have AIC running and show me a screenshot of Live Data.

And I’d also stop using FSHud as that isn’t helping.

Hi Ray and thanks in advance for your help and patience, so:

1) deleted default traffic in p3d

2) set traffic AI slider to 100%

3) I'm waiting for AIC to download, I didn't use it before, I'll show you when downloaded

4) LIRF at 08:00 clock default airport, no 3rd part

5) no FSHud

this is my situation on AIG Traffic Controller:

I can't see some of these: brussel, MEA, TAP Portugal, Pegasus and Iberia, maybe because is a default airport scenery.

Hi Riccardo,

Your settings seem fine. Make sure you have 100% set in TC - Status. How many aircraft are shown. I have 89 near me at LIRF at 08:26Z today.

The screenshot below shows all Ai but it also includes BGL ones as well as AIGFP. Strangely I can't get anything showing on the Timetable. It remains blank. Perhaps it only shows AIGFP flights and all mine are BGLs.

AI Companion shows what the situation is with these. I do have the 3rd party LIRF from Aerosoft.
