July 10, 20241 yr Going to fly from Copenhagen to Bangkok on Thai Airways TG951 (PMDG 777) for 10 and half hours. The route lies along Southern coast of the Black Sea, Middle East, Iran... So how to simulate it? I remember there is an option in PMDG 777 FMC to turn off GPS. Isn't it? I tried to do it once after 1 hour flight and turning GPS off gave me even better ANP 🤔 (0.06 vs 0.07). P.S. And yes. I'm going to sit in front of my computer for 10 and 1/2 hours instead of going to dentist, etc. No XXX speed and other cheating. I will turn off automatic reply to ATC to increase workload. Plus time and fuel records along the route and step climbs. And there are many other things to do actually. To see sundown over Caspian Sea and sunrise over Bay of Bengal for instance. Then hot Bangkok 🇹🇭. Short rest and - ❤️🥂❤️!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

July 10, 20241 yr Think the only addon that could feasibly simulate this on any platform, is the Hot Start Challenger 650.
