I am about ready to pull the trigger on the MD-11, one of my favorite aircraft, TFDi recommends at least a Ryzen 7 3700 and 16g ram.  I have a Ryzen 5 3600 and 32g ram.  Would this be doable? Does anyone have this combo?

I don't have that processor, but I don't find the MD11 significantly harder on my machine than PMDG/Fenix.

That said I only start looking at the frame rate if the sim gets slow / laggy.

I would make sure your GPU also meets the recommended specs. Make sure you have enough processing power (e.g Nvidia RTX 3000 series or better (or AMD/intel equivalent) and enough VRAM on your card (8Gb+).

Thanks, good to know, my NVIDIA card is an RTX3070, unsure of the ram but I believe it to be at least 8.

I just know with the P3D version it was a frame hog.  I've been reluctant to buy this because of that. Shouldn't  be a problem with my vram 16gb 6900XT but I'm still at a wait and see with this plane.
