August 20, 20241 yr After many years of using FSX and P3D I have been attempting to learn how to use PMDG B737-700 using a flight plan generated using Simbrief. The planning goes fine, I can download the FP using the PMDG rte. type of plan. Copy and paste it into the MSFS......local state, packages,PMDG 737-700,work, flight plan. Start the aircraft at the departure airport, configure the FMC to load the Simbrief plan and EXC. Also select the Simbrief plan in the PMDG EFB. Take off and be cruising along until I get to a certain change of direction and the aircraft continues to fly straight and the Flight Plan light will go out. The aircraft had executed several changes of direction up to that point. It happens on short flights and long flight. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Bob G. September 10, 20241 yr Hi. Might I suggest referring to youtube. They have lots of videos of folks importing flight plans. One thing I noted on your comments is that you said you "Copy & Paste". Really, you should be using the simbrief exporter tool to export your flight plans into all the locations you want/need them. You have to be signed into simbrief but if you go to "Dispatch" tab and scroll down to "FMS Downloader". After you generate the flight plan in simbrief, you open the FMS Downloader tool and export the flight plan. Youtube videos will help you get pull the flight plan into the airplane's FMS. Not sure if this is what you're asking. A.
