Printing FSX Flight Plan

Recommended Posts

I am unable to print the flight plan from within FSX. My FSX runs on Drive E: and my main drive is C: Is it possible to change a setting somewhere that directs the flight plan to my printer? I looked in the Config file and didn't see anything. Any help would be appreciated. ... Are you running FSAutostart before you load the FS? If so - check your Print Spooler in Windows Services; it may be stopped.

Not shutting down any services. Partially solved the problem. I can get it to print when in Full Screen mode but not windowed. Doesn't make sense to me thought. Thanks for your response. Craig

Do you by chance have FireFox or another program as your default internet browser?FS uses IE for displaying many windows and if it is not the default browser - it won't print as you've described.

Yes, using Firefox as my default. Maybe that's it but as I said it will print in Full Screen Mode. Thanks, Craig

FSX (and FS2004) use the browser code to bring up most windows - like the FlightPlanner and Navigation log. Trying to print from a browser window - needs IE to be the default browser.I've had the same issue with Firefox and printing in FSX / FS2004 and some other game programs.Full screen appears to have IE take over the entire browser activity.

Hi All, Thanks for the responses. I changed IE to be my default browser and now I can print in windowed mode too. Suprized to see it print as a Word Document but it works. Thanks to all for the advice. Hope this thread helps others with the same problem.
