Anyone know how to get rid of the double lines? I tried uninstalling and the double lines fixer but nothing works.

This is the Afcads line showing through. It should be deactivated in the editor for Afcads, Airport Design Editor. They even have a fix for this on Simmarket. You can just use the fix. It's called Double_Lines_problem_update_WMKK_p3D.zip

If I recall there was a file that was specifically taking care of the double lines. You just need to check in simmarket, you'll find it in the downloads.

The AA Sceneries for this airport states it’s compatible with FSX and P3D v4.5 only.

But a couple of reviews suggest it works in v5. Could anyone confirm that please and also comment on its quality. Thanks.

There is a file on Simmarket called How_to_update_to_V5.zip (it doesn't say which version of v5 this is for). I have this scenery but haven't installed in in P3D v5.4 yet. I was going to install the scenery when I make a flight to Kuala Lumpur but keep putting it off.

The P3D v5 update is just one file named WMKK_ADEP5_Tic_OBJ.bgl.

I should probably know this, but the v5 update is that just a question of copying the file WMKK_ADEP5_Tic_OBJ.bgl into what folder?

The scenery folder of the airport. It looks like the AFCAD file so scenery is unaffected.

Scenery purchased and installed. Looks very nice. The author has provided fixes for the double lines as well as other reported issues. For just over 10 GBP it's a bargain.

I can now do short hops to Singapore as well as long haul up to Japan and China.

A rare situation! I checked the AFCAD for errors and it came back with absolutely none! That goes to show the excellence of the package. 👏

Ray, the quality of an AFCAD cannot be defined solely by the errors it's not showing running the ADE error tool. The painter of the taxilines was completely drunk, when drawing the lines. Look at it in ADE.

I reworked this airport in 2020 and fixed the shine through taxilines and -lights and also did a huge overhaul to the taxilines and parkings to be in match with the painted surface. I then contacted the publisher by e-mail. I offered him my precision afcad, but he was not interested. He then published his fixes, which do only provide an afcad that does not display lines and lights and an exclusion file for P3D5. He did not fix the bad quality of the AFCAD. So it hurts, if your praising this an excellent package. There are certainly things on this scenery, that are outstanding, but this is not the AFCAD. Not showing errors in the ADE error tool does not say it's perfect. There are AFCADS showing errors but they are fine.

I never published my improved AFCAD, cause 2020 was before i started to do so. Also my standards then, where not the same as today. I will upload it, when I checked that it's good enough for sharing.

@blaunarwal, the available downloads included one for the double taxiway lines. I know you’re particularly keen on quality AFCADs. I’m less so. If ADE reports no errors that satisfies me. After all, ADE is very good for donationware.

When you do upload yours I’ll give it a go.
