Re-Installing Aircraft Problem

Featured Replies

Hi there!

I'm here because I deleted my world of ai aircraft and flight plans NOW that I deleted them, when I go to re-install them it says its still there and would I care to repair the file. Anybody have this problem? This isn't the first time this has happened to me. Im thinking I'll have to re-install the game and all new files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you much.

Does it do any good to go ahead and click the repair option?

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱

I'e tried that option, it sits there for a second and then a message pops up saying it can't be fixed. I just tried installing the game, and it still doesn't help. Do you or anybody know why this is happening? I can re-install the game over and over again and it still does that. I would have to do a factory reset to be able to get it to where it wouldn't do that anymore. A reformat takes too long. I just want to know where those files are so I may remove them and start fresh again.

May I suggest, in the unlikely scenerio, that you check drive C for any file/folder that may contain remnants of the installation.

I am going to assume you have gone the route of using the Control panel way to uninstall as well.

I have come across this problem a few times after an uninstall of various programmes, however when reinstalling the problem child the problem remains.  I then went through the control panel uninstall again, followed by a search through C drive (program files/program files x 86/program data and then through downloads/documments/desktop etc in user files)

I have invariably found remnants which when deleted, and then the subsequent reinstall solved the problem, I have to say though, that I have not yet come across your problem specifically, so the above may not solve your problem, but, it may just be helpful.

I believe there are some software programmes available that will do the full computer search for you but I cannot recommend or vouch for any of them as they remain untried, personally, at this time by me.

I hope this is helpful to you.

Good luck mate, I feel for you.
