Wow! Thanks for this, Matthew. I've lived in Greater Vancouver for 53 years, and I was unaware of this piece of history.

Yes I never heard of it either and I'm from Canada too. Impressive these brothers would have been working 60+ hours a week in their family business and still found time to build this airplane, and they didn't kill themselves as many have back then. True dreamers of aviation making it a reality
