September 23, 20241 yr Loving the Himalaya scenery, I performed a short flight in a PC12 from VNKL-Kangel Danda, modelled by Aerosoft to the iconic airport Lukla(VNKT) who is splendid modelled as default in MSFS. It's a very challenging approach to Lukla airport because no possibility for a go around if you misses a fair landing on the steep uphill runway 06.
September 23, 20241 yr BEAUTIFUL! Strange thing is I don't consider Lukla or Courchevel, et al, to be difficult airports. Yes, they require specialized approaches, but it's a LOT harder to bring an aircraft in on a normal strip with strong, gusty crosswinds 🙂

September 28, 20241 yr Beautiful set ...! You've shown some angles of the Lukla airport vicinity not normally seen around here.... Yes, I recall, taking off is relatively easy, but landing is immensely difficult into this airport ...glad you made it safely down...🙂... [Many moons ago, it would have been a Tara Air Dornier 228 for me, in RW, for a Ticket I'd purchased at Kathmandu for Lukla, but the flight had to be cancelled in the last minute due to adverse weather at the destination. Landing accidents in Lukla are not unusual...unpredictable weather being one of the contributory factors...] BTW, I know you are flying here into iconic Lukla Airport (VNLK) not VNKT (Kathmandu)...🙂...pictures are proof...
