Lost aircraft traffic after installation of Traffic Global

Featured Replies

Hello

I have installed Traffic Global for P3D v5. Unfortunately even though all traffic is set at 100% there is no traffic at departure airport on the tarmac. If I press the view Aircraft traffic in views I see some airplanes in the sky. When I arrived and landed in KJFK I was the only plane on the ground. ….a ghost sirport so far from reality.

How can I solve this problem. I am considering ultimately uninstalling Traffic global, how should I proceed .?
is there a good traffic add on wich is easy to install?

Thanks in advance

Nothing good that's easy to install I'm afraid. AIG is your absolute best bet and it's free. It just takes some time to install. Traffic Global was just brutal.

Thank you Dave

so you suggest that I uninstall Traffic Global?
Is there a manual explaining in detail how to install AIG since I am not a very familiar with computer science?

How do I get AIG?

thank you

Hello

it says ready for Flight Simulator…..nothing about P3Dv5.

Do I need the manager and the controller?

thank you.

It is also for P3d. As for needing the Traffic Controller or not, it depends on how you want to set it up. If you want to use the older classic method of bgl flightplans or the newer method that the Traffic Controller injects the traffic and they follow assigned routes routes etc. There are many good tutorial videos on YouTube if you have concerns during setup. I thought it was pretty straight forward. Just be sure it is set to Freeware only (there are some optional payware AI models but they certainly aren't required) and only install a few airlines at a time. It does require some user input at times during install as the files are stored on various hosting sites and also some of the sites are notoriously slow and sometimes stall out. When that happens you can close out that airline install and move to another one, traying again at another time.
