October 7, 20241 yr I've been using P2ATC, v. 2 for over 3 years and I just installed Version 3. Everything seemed to be working fine but I found out that the latest AIRAC is not used in flight plans I entered. In Navigraph FMS manager, the Addon Mapping shows Pilot2ATC pointing to the existing Pilot2ATC_3_x64 directory and the Addon List shows that the latest AIRAC revision (2410 rev 1 as of today) has been downloaded (green background) for Pilot2ATC. Avitab in X-Plane 12 and LittleNavMap show the latest Jeppesen plates versions, but P2ATC shows outdated plates. I understand this issue has already been reported but I was under the impression that it had been rectified. Am I wrong? October 8, 20241 yr Quote I need to update my Navigraph Data but V3 does not show in the FMS Data Manager Navigraph does not yet support the V3 data format. Review the QuickStart-First Flight video. In the first few minutes, it explains how to use the P2A V3 Data Converter to convert your V2 data to V3. Also, if you have made changes to your airport layouts using TaxiMnt in V2, just peform a similar process on your P2ABaseData.mdf file from V2 and you will get all the changes in V3, without a hassle.
October 8, 20241 yr Commercial Member In the 2411 AIRAC cycle, Navigraph should have P2A V3 as one of the Addon Options. However, I understand they will just be loading V2 data into the V3 Data folder. You will still have to do the Data Conversion to get the data to the format needed for V3. There is no date established for Navigraph loading the data in the correct format for V3. Dave
October 11, 20241 yr Author Thank you. Your suggestion is the latest iteration of RTFM, but this time it is WTFV (Watch The F****** Video)! I did as suggested and it worked. However, I found a couple of other issues: 1. The controller does not understand the pilot's communications when these are generated automatically. I can appreciate that the P2ATC controller wouldn't understand my voice, but it is so very strange that the P2ATC controller cannot understand the P2ATC pilot! 2. During flight plan entry for a flight EGKK (London-Gatwick) to LFBD (Bordeaux), P2ATC wouldn't let me select an altitude higher than FL200. Enroute, I asked for FL360 (using the P2ATC-generated voice since the controller wouldn't even understand my request). I did obtain the new FL. However, ATC did not adjust the Top-of-Descent point for the new altitude. I had to use full airbrakes to catch the descent profile slightly before the IAF. 2. In the clearance, the ClrDel controller says "Departure" twice. For instance, in Gatwick, it would be "BOGN1X departure departure". It looks like "we're not there yet", but our hopes are high ...
