October 23, 20241 yr Good morning dear friends; thanks for welcoming me in the community. I'm a little confused: I want to change from P3D 4.5 to FS2020. I currently have P3D 4.5, PMDG 737, fsuipc, mobiflight 10.4 I have 7 monitors (2 graphics cards); 14 arduino MEGA 2560; motorized throttle block built by me. almost complete dual side cockpit. I want to change because I have problems with sudden display shutdown and missing outputs after a few minutes. thanks for help
October 23, 20241 yr Trust me MSFS will not solve your problems. And regarding multi-monitor, MSFS would give you even more issues. Looks like it's actually a hardware problem, and I'll ask a moderator to move this thread to the correct forum. Back to your topic: with all these addons, are you sure your PSU is up to the task? I agree 100% with this - you can't use multiple monitors for views very easily with MSFS, without treating them as a single (stretched) screen, with all the issues that brings with it. Also note that MSFS2024 will be released next month - maybe that will have better multi-monitor support, but I doubt it. Better to look into solving your display issue. If you want to upgrade, I would consider P3Dv5, or possibly P3Dv6, but check your add-on support for the latter. If using FSUIPC5, you will need to update to FSUIPC6 for P3Dv5 and/or P3Dv6 (and FSUIPC6 also supports P3Dv4). John
October 23, 20241 yr Moderator This looks like a hardware problem involving graphics card and multiple monitors. I think the monitor hardware forum might be the best place for this problem. @auransbey, it would help if you described what each of your seven monitors is displaying and the graphics cards in use.
