November 9, 20241 yr Every time when i fly, mid way my plane turns off lnav and vmav and turns left and goses in a nose dive. The fmc reports when after i stable the aircraft and try to return on AP, " NOT ON INTERCEPT HEADING" Ive done so much flying in the 737, but overall new to the max era. It will miss a turn somewhere then start to go down. I know my fmc is right, had it verify by some people. Any ideas?

Any ideas? 1) AP disconnect is probably due to hardware noise in your joystick (either that or overpowered turbulence in MSFS). 2) To re-enable LNAV you need to be on a heading pointing towards your next waypoint. Either that or just do a direct to to the waypoint on the LEGS page Creator of: Realistic Pax & Cargo (RPC)For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. November 9, 20241 yr It will help to provide some pictures or a detailed explanation. Note that the LNAV will generally not engage if you are over 90 degrees of intercept angle en route. However, certain FMCs will allow up to 135 degrees without getting that message. Freshly retired after 41 unforgettable years on the Boeing 747. The flying days may be behind me, but the memories never will be.
