November 18, 20241 yr I open the program, headset enabled and save the configuration. I open the program without the headset and it has recognized the change in hardware even though the program won't function without the headset. So I enable my headset and then must go back to hardware and change it from my speakers to the headset. If I forget, the voices come from my speakers while static sounds come through the headset. Am I doing something incorrectly? Edited November 18, 20241 yr by Zatoichi
November 19, 20241 yr Commercial Member The program reads the audio input and output devices at startup. If something is missing, like your headset, it sets the audio output to one of the devices that is present. If you then plug in a device, and want that device to work with P2A, you'll have to tell P2A that you want to use it in Settings. So sounds like it's working correctly. Dave
November 19, 20241 yr Author Since my speakers are on when I use the headset V3 assigns the input to the headset and the output to the speakers. Either I shut my speakers off or manually set the output.
November 20, 20241 yr Commercial Member Manually setting the output to the headset and having that set when you shutdown P2A, it should remember that setting. Then, make sure your headset is plugged in the next time you start P2A and it will use the headset. But if it's not plugged in, it will revert to the speakers. Dave
