Losing Versions of FS9 Aircraft in FSX

Featured Replies

There are many outstanding aircraft for FS9 that when installed to FSX lose many of the versions the aircraft had in FS9. Some if install to the aircraft folder show and others will not show up unless installed to the simobjectsairplane folder. Even then many of the modeled version of that plane are missing. Any ideas?

The answer is quite simply this, aircraft designed fro FS9 are not FSX compliant. For an aircraft to be FSX compliant they must be developed with the FSX SDK.

Keep FS9 on the hardrive.I jump back and forth and enjoy both fs9/fsx for each has its benefits.Betreen the two sims, I have more $$$ invested than my first car cost me.
