I found hiw to make it work with and without Ultimate Terrain X running. I moved the KPSM_ADE_SCH_CVX.bgl from the \Addon Scenery\scenery folder to the \Addon Scenery\Pease AFB folder and all is good.

I found the problem. My Ultimate Terrain X was over riding the polygons. On a hunch I disabled it and they showed up. I guess I will modify the scenery for everyone but me. :lol: Thank you for your input Steve

Yes both files are there, but the polygon I added is not

Thank you for the reply I built my airport scenery on top of the Stock KPSM airport. Is there a way to view the airport polygon so I can modify it

I am trying to modify my Pease AFB scenery using ADE. I add a Land Class polygon near the end of the runway for a Golf Course, but it never shows up in FSX I want to add more polygons, but I need to get past the first one Thanks Steve

SHRS F-111

I have been working on a project for well over a year. I was working with a very talented gauge programer who was doing amazing work. For an unknown reason two months ago I lost all contact with him (I hope he is okay). I could release the aircraft as it is, but would very much like to finish up some things before I do. I could use a really talented and experienced gauge programer to help with this project. My previous programer will be very, very hard to replace, he was a genius and created things for this aircraft that has never been done in FSX before. The FSX,COM F-111 looks good, but it still leaves me wanting much more.It looks and works well, but they just focused on the pilot seat. There is so much more that could have be done. Model-wise my F-111 uses the Alphasim freeware F-111 (the model is just OK at best), but is the most fun to fly with the only TRUE LOOK AHEAD PITCH AND ROLL STABILIZED TERRAIN FOLLOWING RADAR system. That is the heart and soul of the F-111 flying experience. To me a bad F-111 is better than no F-111. None of the F-111s (Virtavia, FSX.com, and Just Flight) are bad. I have a very high standard having first hand knowledge of the F-111, being a former F-111 avionics systems specialist. When I say ‘worst than’ I should explain that while an 8 is worst than a 9, an 8 is still pretty good. Will I buy the Just Flight F-111, you bet I will? Will it be good? I am sure it will. I hope the beta testers report the pylon issue, or maybe someone from Just Flight will catch this post and fix it. Either way it looks good and I can’t wait to fly it. Having worked on the F-111 for four years I may be more critical than most people, but if you are going to model an aircraft do some simple research and get it right. I realize that it is still not finished, but the overall look of the textures just look 'cheesy'. The outer pylons on their model rotate as the wings sweep, but they are really fixed and do not move limiting the wing-sweep to 26 degrees when install. The VC looks good, but I will have to see how well it works. To be honest I am so disappointed with the Virtavia FSX F-111 it has made me skeptical and more cirtiacal of Justflight's F-111 and if you can't get some simple details correct, like the pylons, it makes me doubt what I can't see yet. I could forgive a lot from a freeware aircraft, but if you want people to buy your product then you better show you did some research! Virtavia's F-111 VC's look good at first glance. After flying it for a few minutes you quickly realize that the camera views are awkward and it functions poorly. This may sound silly, but it is very true. Make sure to limit the amount of fonts on your system to under 100. Nothing will slow down not just Flight Sim, but your whole computer, than too many fonts.

There is more wrong with this Model than they got right. I looks good a first glance, but really falls short of what it could have been, I got bored with it very quickly.

That tells me it did not install to the correct folder. Make sure that when you install it your Alphasim F-111 is in the ...Microsoft Flight Simulator XSimObjectsAirplanes folder and you select the ...Microsoft Flight Simulator X folder as your install folder.

It is a graphic issue. The GPS 'light' has two states, off & on. If it is ON then the BMP will look like the GPS light is lit even if there is no power. Flight Simulator does just that, Simulates not replicates and sometimes rather poorly.

Started flight with default Cessna 172 Turned off magnetos, battery, and avionics. Aircraft is now cold and dark. Saved flight Exited to main menu Started saved Cessna flight Changed aircraft to AS F-111 (still cold and dark) Switched on L & R generators and Battery Ctrl + E to start #1 engine, repeated for #2 engine start No Joy, Aft tank still feeds with wing and drop tanksSteve
